Job Description:
Responsible for professionally supporting all aspects of Quality Control and Assurance for the Extrusion function.
Job Responsibilities:
Extrusion Inspection Technician will be responsible for inspecting product to the specifications on a drawing.
Technician must be open to flexing into the following areas: Receiving Inspection and verification, Final Product Inspection and Batch Release certifications, Internal Audits, equipment support, and Quality Documentation and Records activities.
Technician must show initiative taking on and completing projects including other assignments as requested
Support the management team, production associates, and external vendors to ensure established product requirements are met.
Help to ensure production and R&D schedules are met through following priorities and completing inspections.
Support the established QMS/QA processes and as needed working with internal resources to recommend change to maintain high quality processes.
Technician will be responsible for communicating issues found to the appropriate internal parties.
Requirements:
College or Technical College education preferred
Minimum 5-yrs experience in the medical device manufacturing environment preferred
Competent experience with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Competency with handheld dimensional inspection equipment and Automated Inspection Equipment
Experience in creating inspection reports
Competency performing Final Inspection of Extrusion Components
Must be able to follow written instructions and procedures
Must possess good organizational skills
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
