The Seattle Commercial Derivative Airplanes and Bomber Program Team seeks an experienced Product Support Analyst (mid-level). The Logistics team supports all derivative programs in the Puget Sound region (P-8, KC-46 and VC-25B).
This position will conduct research and analyses to develop and verify the effectiveness of maintenance data and procedures. Emphasis will be development of maintenance solutions to optimize customer operations as well as new maintenance procedures based on design review and analysis of product support data. The Maintenance Analyst will be part of a team researching and assessing engineering changes to determine impact on maintenance operations.
This position is based in Tukwila, WA. The expectation long-term is in-office support, however, this team is currently working hybrid .
Position Responsibilities:
Researches and assesses engineering changes to determine impact on maintenance publications
Work with supplier data to analyze and integrate it into the VC-25B support system.
Work as technical team member on proposal team. Evaluate requirements, write Basis of Estimates (BOE), Statement of Work (SOW)
Execute support equipment SOW, analyzing requirements and developing Wire Diagram Solutions
Perform as Subject Matter Expert evaluating Product Revision Record (PRRs) and design related changes for maintenance manuals
Work with Engineering and FAA through all phases of certification; Amended Type Certification (ATC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC) and Military Type Certification (MTC)
Requires the ability to successfully lead meetings and communicate technical data and information to United States Air Force
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final Secret U.S. Security Clearance may be required post-start .
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with aircraft maintenance/technical publications data
Experience with aircraft maintenance practices
Experience with navigating engineering systems at Boeing
A degree in Engineering is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with authoring maintenance manuals in eMOD
Maintenance experience on 747 program highly desired and/or maintenance experience on military heavy aircraft.
Airframe & Powerplant License desired
Knowledge of Commercial ATA specification as they relate to Technical Publication and maintenance data.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (eg Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
