The Wax & Skin Lounge is an established Day Spa located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago on N. Milwaukee Ave. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and talented Esthetician to join our growing team. Applicants should posses a passion towards educating clients, excellent communication skills and a positive and friendly attitude. As an Esthetician at The Wax & Skin Lounge, you will help provide services in accordance with our established procedures. You will have the pleasure of cultivating new client relationships and ensuring retention of existing clients. Your main focus will be to promote and represent our brand in the Brows, Hair Removal and Skincare department.
What we are looking for:
Hair Removal Specialist, skilled in Waxing and/or Sugaring
Skincare Specialist
Brow Specialist
Threading Experience a big plus
Perform Hair Removal Services with knowledge and care
Experience performing Brow & Brazilian waxing to perfection
Hydro-derm, Micro-derm, Dermaplaning a plus
Lash Lift, Lash Extension, Brow Lamination a Plus
Ability to educate our guests and prescribe proper home-care
Correctly evaluate and give proper skin analysis consultation
People oriented and the ability to engage our guests with super professional and friendly customer service
Team player
Have very recent experience as an Esthetician
Availability to work Monday through Saturday (Sundays Closed). This current position will be 4-5 days per week.
A positive, friendly, upbeat and personable demeanor
A professional appearance at all times
Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
Must be dependable and reliable
