Job Overview
Commercial roofers are needed for this position. Applicants must have experience in roofing, framing and installing roofing systems. Applicants must have a commercial roofing license and also a driver's license. Experience in finance is also needed for this position.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete paperwork for projects, like blueprints, orders and contracts.
Understand and follow legal requirements to protect the company and its employees.
Solve technical problems or other issues that may arise in the field..
Daily inspection of installations for safety and aesthetics.
Assist with installation of new roofs and shingles.
Dispose of waste to environment-friendly standards.
Provide training to apprentices and co-workers.
Educate customers on technical aspects of roofing service.
Inspect materials before purchasing. Work with other employees to ensure the best work is performed.
Requirements
Current valid driver's license required.
Must be capable of performing strenuous activity relative to tear-off, carrying, and disposing of roofing material.
1+ year of roofing field experience or formal technical training.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to travel up to five weeks at a time.
Preferred
OSHA 10-hour certification.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Specialized training: crane CCL, forklift, rigging, aerial work platform, roof system specific training, CERTA, etc.
