The Bill Dodge Auto Group is BUSY! Our service departments are booking out weeks in advance and there is no shortage of work. If you're an experienced technician and are looking for a change, don't miss this opportunity!
We're currently offering a $1500 Sign-on Bonus, a retention bonus that pays out twice a year, and an increased PTO payout just for our flat rate technicians! We also offer paid training and certification courses, a complete uniform program, boot allowance, and we'll pick up your tool box for you.
Our locations in Westbrook, Saco, and Brunswick are all hiring!
Responsibilities:
Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License w/ acceptable driving record
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
Valid State of Maine Vehicle Inspection License
Current ASE and/or OEM Certifications are strongly preferred
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
