Description

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ESTIMATOR

  • Prepare accurate, detailed, quantity surveys
  • Independently research tasked items; identify and obtain relevant information needed to quantify and solicit subcontractor proposals
  • Develop complete project cost estimate package
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with owner(s) and architect(s)
  • Understand and differentiate capabilities of local subcontractors
  • Solicit subcontractors for proposals
  • Communicate project scope clearly and effectively

Profile

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, estimating software, and scheduling software
