ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for accepting and evaluating assigned RFQ's, and assisting in determining best approach for quoting specific projects.

• Using established costing tools, accurately inputting customer provided information and calculating estimated manufacturing cost

• Find reliable & competitive sources for all components and gathering vendor information.

• Responsible for checking the overall design is workable and the components are generally suitable for the application.

• Estimate required Labor hours (ACAD, assembly, wiring, conduit, tubing, testing, and special packaging) and update costing tool accordingly.

• Prepare Quotations ensuring that pricing, delivery, credit terms, UL Listing, validity, and special customer requests are all addressed and are accurate.

• Accurately document all estimation information to ensure that the rest of the organization has easy access to it.

• After receipt and release of customer order, ordering all components required under the most favorable conditions and following ESL's Sourcing department policies and guidelines.

• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to complete project on time and on budget.
