HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Summary: Operate heavy equipment as required for completion of site work, prep, paving operation. We have immediate need of an excavator operator as well as a dozer operator. Some interchange of the two roles may occur depending on candidate talent and experience. All equipment is newer with an maintenance and repair facility at our own yard. You don't have to operate junk.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment in varied roles including site work, underground, general prep, etc.
• Experience with a CAT 320e or larger excavator preferred.
• Experience with a CAT D6 or larger dozer preferred.
• Operate with a priority of job safety for all persons working around the equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning and greasing, ect.
• Communicate clearly with crewmembers to work as a team.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Requirements:

• Previous operator experience is required.
• Previous asphalt experience is preferred, but not required.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold for extended shifts. The machines in most cases have climate controls.
• Must be dependable and show up for all assigned shifts.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
• CDL-A while not required is a definite plus.
• Must have own transportation in most cases.
