Job Overview

The Inventory Specialist will provide support and controls to aid in communication to disaster survivors to aid in participation in disaster assistance. This is a temporary position.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain inventory controls to track and log all sheltering units and equipment.
Will be operating a forklift, skidsteer and handling of equipment operator
Moving trailers in the yard
Reviews and ensures compliance with law, regulation, policy and guidance at federal, state, local and other applicable levels
May serve as a technical liaison on behalf of assigned organizations
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Experienced in Equipment Operator, Skidsteer and Forklift
Strong analytical skills
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Accountability and problem resolution
2+ years of experience in Equipment Operator, Skidsteer and Forklift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
Prairieville, LA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
Heavy equipment operator: 2 years (Required)
