4Granite, Inc. is a Veteran Owned Company located in the High Desert. We are open Monday thru Friday with occasional weekends. We are looking for someone who is ready to work and has a positive attitude. Our yard is in Apple Valley, CA but we complete work in many locations - the location is project dependent and work is mostly outside.

Job Description: 4Granite, Inc. is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator. Applicant must have the skills and knowledge to perform different construction activities. 4G will provide the necessary tools needed to perform job. Must be able to travel to different project locations.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to follow work order requirements.
• Must be able to use shovel, concrete saw, jackhammer, and other construction equipment.
• Must be willing to cross train with other trades and perform other trades.
• Must be able to interact with customer.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be goal oriented.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 90%+ of the day.
• Must be able to work in outdoors and indoors with no A/C or heater.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance
• Operates a variety of construction class vehicles
• Operate vehicles with safety precautions in place
• Works as part of a team under strict deadlines
• Expected to work in a variety of extreme weather conditions
• Maintenance licensing and certification on all vehicles
• Wear safety gear at all times
• Attend all safety trainings
• Required Education: High school or equivalent.
• Desired Experience/Certificates and Qualifications:
• Class A Driver's license, required.
• Clean driving record for the past 2 years
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Hold any NCCER, NCCOO Certification, required
• 2+ years of experience handling heavy equipment
• Understanding of job site safety procedures
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance on a variety of construction class vehicles
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts
• Willingness to be outside in a variety of extreme weather conditions
• Experience Operating Heavy Equipment
• Combat Engineers & Sea Beas a PLUS
• CPR/First Aid
• MSHA
• OSHA 10

Wage: Pay is commensurate with experience with wage range of $30 - 40/hour.
