We have an immediate opening for a Construction and Subcontract Application Analyst. This position can be located at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA, or can be available to those working remotely in the U.S. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office may be required to engage in face-to-face collaboration among teammates

The Analyst will implement, train, support and provide continuous improvement for the company's chosen subcontract and construction management tools on global projects. The candidate must have confirmed experience in systems and software applications that are broadly adopted by EPC organizations. The candidate should have experience with in-depth knowledge of typical EPC system integrations, interfaces, and dependencies, with a special emphasis on subcontracts and construction management.

Additional Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance of bug fixes and enhancements related to construction applications.
Ability to assess the impact of new application requirements and develop a comprehensive functional specification.
Strong working knowledge of applications used on large EPC projects, e.g., Hexagon SmartPlant tools, P6, Ecosys, OpenText, Kahua, Prolog, Autodesk Build or similar.
Design and build new value-add solutions including gather and document business requirements, functional specification and build ensuring the new solution meets client objectives while maintaining standard AP Digital Technology directives.
Create test strategies and ensure all functionality is tested prior to production deployment.
Work with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
Actively participate in design discussions and program functional reviews.
Maintain existing services, resolve incidents and problem management, and meet SLAs.
Knowledge of EPC systems in engineering design, document management, subcontract management, Construction Management, and commissioning.
Align with the business GFO's, GEMTE Automation, and Digital Technologies (IT) groups to ensure seamless project execution.
Work with the engineering automation group and enterprise architect to determine integration strategy and alignment with other Air Products tools.
Work closely with the Regional Project Automation Managers to ensure seamless setup and support of tools.
Work closely with engineering automation group to develop automation procedures for software requirements, configuration, set up, deployment and project close-out/archiving including handover to Operations.
CRITICAL PROFICENCIES
Experience with enterprise interface builder, report writing, and low code application platforms.
Experience with web development (.Net, C#, JavaScript and/or any other scripting languages).
Experience with integration technologies such as Web Services (REST, SOAP).
Exceptional analytic skills and capabilities.
Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability.
Customer service oriented with a demonstrated desire to collaborate and deliver excellent service to internal customers.
Experience in Kahua construction management solution, including kbuilder.
Flexibility to respond and adapt to new, different, or changing situations, requirements, or priorities.
Knowledge of EPC systems in engineering design, document management, subcontract management, Construction Management, and commissioning.
Strong working knowledge of applications used on large EPC projects, e.g., Hexagon SmartPlant tools, P6, Ecosys, OpenText, Kahua, Prolog, Autodesk Build or similar.
Critically evaluate information captured from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
Ability to decompose high-level information into practical details.
Ability to assess the impact of new application requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical), or equivalent work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 5 years' configuration experience in applications, preference given to applications in the construction and subcontracting space.
Experience on very large-scale EPC, Oil, and Gas, Industrial Gases, or Petrochemical projects (>500MM TIC).
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong facilitative skills, including presenting to cross cultures and geographies.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
Strong experience in construction systems architecture and work process
Knowledge of the information flow between the engineering tools
