Aurstaff has partnered with a local healthcare facility to find an Environmental Services Tech to join their team. This is a 13 week contract position.

The Environmental Services Tech will be responsible:
• Dependability
• Regular and Reliable Attendance.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, tidy, and locked.

Previous institutional cleaning experience preferred

Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

$17/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm with some weekends.
