The EVS Lead is responsible for successful administration, coordination and leadership of all activities at the EVS Department in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards during their shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate and provide on-going staff training to deliver service and pristine products to all guests, while maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction and performance.
  • Responsible for the clean and orderly condition of all casino floor, public spaces, offices, restrooms, back of the house spaces, hallways, restaurants etc.
  • Prepare and execute daily staff briefing and keep staff informed of all events and locations.
  • Help prepare work schedules and assign personnel according to business needs, events and projects.
  • Help prepare meeting & training presentations.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Train each staff member on duties and responsibilities
  • Help prepare monthly progress and variance reports.
  • Maintain high employee morale through fair and effective hands on leadership and positive outlook.
  • Seek new methods to improve overall quality, standards and procedures
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Associate's degree OR equivalent from two-year College or technical school, preferred
  • OR three years (external) related experience and/or training OR one year department experience and/or training
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience should be specific to the Hospitality Industry.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
  • Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe's insurance.
