The primary focus of this position is to ensure periodic monitoring, reporting, recordkeeping, training, and other compliance obligations are met on a consistent and timely basis for multiple North Texas (Barnett Shale) midstream assets. This position is responsible for permitting and for overseeing, promoting and improving environmental performance at the field level from a multimedia environmental perspective, including air, water, waste, and natural resources. This position will also assist in managing company sustainability objectives for the asset area.

Under the guidance and leadership of the Lead Environmental Field Specialist, this position provides support to operations, project engineers, corporate and other groups with the goal of achieving efficient, cost-effective environmental compliance for EnLink Midstream assets located in North Texas including natural gas processing plants, compressor stations, natural gas pipelines, and disposal wells.

POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Coordination of compliance tasks with Operations staff, Environmental Compliance staff and other EnLink Midstream departments as needed

Provide air permitting support to Operations and Engineering teams

Ensure periodic monitoring, reporting, recordkeeping, training, and other compliance obligations are completed accurately and timely

Maintain active presence in the field; provide compliance assistance to Operations as needed and conduct periodic training

Assist with implementation of new programs, policies, procedures and with projects involving environmental obligations

Maintain transparent communication at all times through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, and regular interpersonal communication

Utilize Compliance Management Solution (EMIS software) to manage compliance activities

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related science discipline required
• 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, midstream industry segment preferred

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Experience with Texas and Title V permitting is preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), to maintain clear lines of communications with management
• Strong leadership abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with an enthusiastic, determined work ethic
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data, government legislation, and regulations
• Ability to work directly with regulators, contractors, and field personnel
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Ability and willingness to travel to various North Texas locations (company vehicle is provided)
• Ability to respond to emergencies as needed
• Strong PC skills in all Microsoft office applications
