The Candidate must hold a M.S of Science in Electrical Engineering or Technology degree from an ABET accredited engineering school.
He must be able to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. He should have developmental experience in a similar professional position or equivalent graduate-level education.

Responsibilities
Relay Setting Development and NERC Compliance:
- Be responsible for the development and quality of relay setting for transmission, generation and distribution projects. These include transmission line, bus, transformer, feeder, capacitor, reactor, etc protection schemes.
- Perform fault analysis with Aspen or CAPE short circuit programs.
- Perform relay coordination of transmission, generation and distribution systems.
- Develop mis-operation, and root cause analysis reports.
- Develop communication settings for SEL RTACs for SCADA integration projects.
- Perform fault analysis to verify proper pickup and coordination of relay settings.
- Perform Arc Flash studies using ETAP.
- Collaborate with other setting engineers with questions regarding protection scheme applications.
- Develop and review NERC compliance verification reports for all PRC NERC Standards. This include PRC-019, PRC-005, PRC-024, PRC-035, PRC-026, PRC-027, etc.
- Work with team to meet project specifications, cost control and schedule objectives.
- Develop proposals for new relay setting and compliance projects.
- Be available to answer customer questions after working hours.
- Be responsible to maintain all projects schedules on time and under budget.
- Maintain estimates and number of hours available per project.
- Support marketing with technical information about company projects
- Help maintain good customer relations
