Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Entry-Level or Associate Noise, Vibrations and Emissions Engineer (NVE) to join our Acoustics Engineering team in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conducts acoustic and vibroacoustic analyses of new and derivative flight/launch vehicles
• Assists with the design and validation of noise/vibration control technologies for structural, sidewall, airframe, propulsion systems, nacelle, rotor and component elements of flight/launch vehicles to ensure compliance with noise regulations, requirements and system qualifications
• Conducts acoustic/vibroacoustic tests
• Coordinates noise/vibration control requirements and validation testing to demonstrate compliance with affected design groups and suppliers
• Develops and improves acoustics/aeroacoustics/vibroacoustic prediction and control technologies
• Supports internal and external customer requests for operational and compliance vibration/acoustic data of flight/launch vehicles

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2023

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years' experience in Noise, Vibration or Emissions (NVE)

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
