Your role:
In your role as an Engineering Technician you will support climatic testing, to include maintenance and operational setup of all test equipment. These responsibilities include the setup, monitoring, inspection, and collection of data for multiple systems and test types as defined by test plans.
What you'll do all day:
Work as part of a team of technicians and operators to conduct environmental testing.
Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and setup.
Monitor tests and record data, using both manual and automated means, and perform data compliance and consistency checks.
Ensure that simulated environments such as rain, salt, fog, high and low temperature, high and low humidity, altitude, etc are properly calibrated and maintained.
Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and setup.

Create documents that pertain to test failures and anomalies.
Perform routine checks on equipment for visual issues or maintenance needs.
Communicate with engineers, technicians, and customers to discover and develop requirements, with the goal of optimizing and improving current and future processes.

Minimum requirements for this position:
This position is for 3rd shift, including weekends. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR A 3RD SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE.
3 years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 2 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 1 year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ablility to work overtime as required.
Capable of working in hazardous environments, including exterme temperatures.
Capable of obtaining and maintaining exlosive certification level II.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
Desired skills and experience for this position:
Associates degree in a technicial field.
Experience with PLCs.
Previous experience working as an Engineering Technician.
Technical writing skills.
