We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to work with our most stable client.

Job Responsibilities:

Planning - Provide the guidance to develop project scopes, preparation of conceptual and detailed cost estimates, develop schematics, detailed drawings and specifications needed for all new construction, expansion or major improvements required for customer initiated projects.

Estimating - Prepare cost estimates for sales (customer) initiated projects, and develop cost estimates for new expansions and maintenance projects.

Detailed engineering - Provide guidance for detailed engineering, selecting consultants as needed, and project budgetary controls; work closely with Purchasing Manager in establishing acceptable cost standards;

Quality control - Work with the Purchasing Manager to ensure that contractors and suppliers deliver in accordance with approved plans, specifications and standards of performance; establish testing and inspection procedures for quality control of all operating facilities and technical systems.

Capital Budget - Typical Facility Capital Budget range is $1,000,000 - $15,000,000 depending on expansion plans. Customer projects can range from $500,000 to $10,000,000 or greater depending on scope and quantity.

Requirements:

Ten (10) years' experience in a professional engineering capacity with Engineering firm or operating company or similar multidiscipline engineering organization.

Experience in project management, management, construction, engineering and quality control.

B.S. degree in chemical engineering or related field.
