A nationally recognized Engineering client of Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Manager for Public Works to help build more iconic West Coast projects. This acclaimed firm holds multiple "Top Work Place", and "Design Firm of the Year" awards.

Location: Walnut Creek office. Option to work out of Sacramento or Pleasanton if preferred.

Day to Day:

- Assist Project Managers in preparing current project status for informing clients on progress and internal reporting.

- Lead the Plan Preparation and Design process.

- Supervise/coordinate and mentor the Team of Engineers, Drafters, Technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.

- Lead the Quality Control effort on your projects. AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.

Public Works/Capital Improvement Projects include streets (pavement rehabilitation, streetscape, complete streets, etc.); trails and parks; on-call assignments; public building site development, and other municipal engineering.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- 9+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.

- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required.

- Professional Engineering license in the State of California is required.

- AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.
