Job Description

Manage the release train for several back-end engineering pools
Able to work in cross-functional team where you will work with designers, engineers, and product managers to help maintain consumer-facing services and applications
Facilitate and help adopt an AGILE culture
Be able to mentor tech leads and architects
Help push process and drive initiatives to integrate best engineering practices (testing, observability, documentation)
Engage and participate in cultural evolution of processes to improve overall process, product, and support quality.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineer experience
3+ years of engineering leadership experience
Strong understanding of JIRA/Confluence tools
Experience with contemporary SDLC & Agile processes and release planning & software release train management
Expertise with AWS & GCP environments.
Strong knowledge with common cloud architectures around API management, Cloud Storage, content delivery, analytics, APM, CI/CD
S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, Cloudfront, Stream processing systems (Spark/Glue/Flink), Cloudwatch, Cloudformation
Serverless, Terraform experience
