We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who will research, plan, design, develop, and document mechanical and electromechanical components and assemblies for SiAW , an anti-radiation missile set to soon enter production. This includes, but is not limited to, electronic components and assemblies, airframes, separation mechanisms, and more!
Basic Qualifications:
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering AND a minimum of two (2) years Mechanical and/or Electrical Design experience using CAD software OR a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT).
- Familiarity with PTC Creo (7.0 is preferred) and Windchill.
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.5.
- Experience with CCA design and/or fabrication.
- Experience with Machining (Mill, Lathe, Router, etc...).
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping, etc...).
- Experience with structural analysis using both hand-calculations and FEA software (Nastran, Abacus, etc...).
- Familiarity with structured decision making (i.e: Trade Studies, FEMCA, etc...)
