Role Summary
As a Test Engineer, you will develop and implement new and improved methods for testing of harsh environment sensors used in nuclear reactors, radiation monitoring, oil & gas exploration, and natural gas turbines. Your responsibilities will span from supporting daily production needs to larger projects that make a positive impact on quality, customer satisfaction, and on the Reuter-Stokes team in Twinsburg, Ohio.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
â Design, qualify, implement, and maintain calibration or test systems, working with a cross-functional engineering team to develop and meet technical requirements.
â Driving improvements to testing capability and documentation, and subsequent training of others.
â Leading improvements in test setups, test automation, and trend monitoring.
â Owning new equipment / upgrades from purchase through installation
â Contributing to NPI (New Product Introduction) programs throughout concept, prototype, pilot, validation, and manufacturing implementation stage gates.
â Supporting Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) projects.
Required Qualifications
â Have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
â Demonstrated proficiency in software development with languages such as: C#, LabVIEW, Python, VBA, VB.net, SQL, MS Access.
â Have 5 years minimum experience.
Preferred Qualifications
â Experience with developing, debugging, troubleshooting, and testing both electrical and mechanical systems and software.
â Proven experience in problem solving and failure analysis.
â Strong service orientation to the production floor and customers alike.
â Demonstrable successes in a high quality and regulatory environment.
â Ability to coordinate several projects concurrently.
â Familiarity with nuclear instrumentation and measurements a plus.
â Familiarity with electronics for use in extreme temperature, shock and vibration environments desirable.
â Experience with IPC J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 a plus
