Job Overview
We are Actively hiring an Experienced Repair Technician for our Motor and generator test manufacturing company located in Longmont, CO!
Shift: 7 am-5 pm (Shift Flexible between these hours)
Pay: $22-25/hr
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting various motor and generator testers to determine the root of malfunction or determine why the tester no longer runs, you will also be responsible for finding a solution.
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair failures in electronic test instrumentation
Write estimates detailing parts needed and time required to complete job
Document and track repair time and parts used
Clean and inspect returned test equipment that may have been used in dirty working environments
Calibrate test equipment to meet the defined standards
Ability to lift and move instruments up to 50lbs
Work with senior-level personnel in Repair, R&D, and Engineering
Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as needed
Experience and Qualities:
Electronics Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
Electronics Repair: 2 years (Required)
Electromechanical Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)
Troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred)
Self-driven and up for a challenge
Able to handle and prioritize multiple projects at one time
Strong soldering skills
Ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment
Technically minded with good computer skills
Strong work ethic
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Troubleshoot down to the component level
Associate (2 years) degree in Electronics Technology with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
