in search of a Design engineer/product expert for electromechanical switches and other passive transmission line components (couplers, variable attenuators, detectors). Prior similar/relevant component design experience required. Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Microwave experience and knowledge needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Design of RF circuits in the frequency range from DC to 65 GHz

• Generate production ready designs that can be realized economically and require minimal tuning

• Expand on current product offerings and capabilities of the product line, including higher frequency and higher power handling

e• Incumbent will need a solidin passive RF components, covering a range of military, commercial, and satellite applications. You will need to readily apply known and new design techniques to operate over multiple octave bandwidths

• Provide timely support to sales and business development functions with technical proposals, data, analyses, specifications, and technical descriptions

• Capability to build and test prototypes, as well as assist production with technical challenges during production runs. Hands on and knowledgeable bench support to not only verify designs, but to help optimize test and tuning.

• Eager to Learn from Product Experts

• Expected to work closely with the other team members to transfer the design, as needed, into detailed drawings and procedures that are required to successfully build and test the products.

• Utilize computer simulation tools such as HFSS, Genesys, SolidWorks and AutoCad.
