JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, reassemble, maintain, and calibrate electrical equipment and systems.

Some examples of equipment are: winder motors and motor controls, general power distribution, lighting, programmable logic control systems, etc.
-Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
-Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
-Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
-Utilize information obtained from engineering drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams, simple and complex sketches, other related documents, and verbal field instructions needed to perform assigned duties.
-Perform work tasks from SAP generated work descriptions and orders.
-Complete accurate records and reports needed for the PCS role in SAP plant maintenance module.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must be 18 years or older
-Must be able to read, write, and speak English
-Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
-Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
-Must be drug free.
-4 years electrical/electronic/instrumentation experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
-Rotating shifts - days and nights 12-hour shift.
-Stand for extended prolonged periods during 12-hour shift.
-Climb and work from ladders, both portable and fixed
-Climb stairs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

-Two years Associate degree in electrical or Electronic Systems Technology is preferred but not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

General knowledge of Microsoft office suite
