International Paper Company located in Springfield, OR is now accepting applications for Maintenance Electricians. Candidate must possess a General Journeyman or a Limited Manufacturing Plant Journeyman (LMPJ) electrical license. Two years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledgeable in the following skills: troubleshooting power and control circuits, PLC's and variable speed drives, control loop theory and application, and working knowledge of personal computers. We are looking for motivated individuals who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals with a focus on safety.

Pay Rate: $38.01per hour

We offer a comprehensive benefit package including paid vacation, paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid sick leave as well as a 4-10 work schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• General Journeyman or Limited Manufacturing Plant Journeyman (LMPJ) License
• Basic computer skills
• Able to function in a team environment
  
  PLUS: Must be willingly to meet the following requirements:

• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, entrance test and board interviews
• Two years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Submit to random drug screens as a condition of employment
• Work any shift and/or rotating shift schedule and overtime as required
• Wear required personal protective equipment
• Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise heavy machinery or elevated surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)
