SIGNING BONUS
Professional Fire & Security, Inc. (a Fire, Safety and Protection Company) has become one of New England's Fire Protection and Security experts. We are a full-service Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Fire & Burglar Alarm Installation company. We are currently looking for trained, licensed Electricians to join our team in Assonet, MA. SIGNING BONUS AFTER COMPLETION OF TRIAL PERIOD.
Responsibilities:
Pulling wire
Performs scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and ensuring equipment is in excellent working order
Completes maintenance within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero call backs
Assists with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and adjusts as needed to ensure the system is fully functional
Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Maintain company property and documentation in accordance with established policies; handle proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adhere to and support all safety requirements
Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology
Attend and complete training programs as requested
Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean, orderly, and professional vehicle image
Availability for a rotating emergency call schedule
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
MA Electrician License A or B
RI Electrical License or RI BF License preferred
Ability to lift, move and manipulate fixtures and component hardware up to 30 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodations)
Ability to work in confined areas, work off ladders, platforms and heights
Must possess a valid, clean driver's license in good standing and be at least 21 years of age in order to operate company vehicles.
Desired Characteristics:
Three years of experience as an electrician working in an industrial environment
Working knowledge in the installation of large industrial equipment
Knowledge and understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting
Familiar with industrial and Massachusetts regulations
Strong understanding of HVAC controls
Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
Strong electrical and mechanical abilities
Ability to use basic tools and machinery
Ability to schedule, plan and order materials for jobs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with customers
