Job duties/description :

Must follow safety codes and guidelines while assisting with the installation and
servicing of electrical equipment. Must wear appropriate protective clothing and
equipment and adhere to job-specific safety protocols at all times.
Follow instructions from electricians towards a completion of electrical projects.
Assist journeyman with installation or repair of fixture and equipment as directed.
Measure, Cut, and bend material (EMT pipe), with degrees of supervision.
Assist journeyman with assigned tasks; may include working at heights or in
trenches or excavations as needed.
Assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during
installation. Journeyman electrician will provide clear written or verbal instructions,
which must follow as directed.
Ensure that all necessary tools are on site and readily available during the project.
Restock supplies and material as necessary. Keep electrical parts and materials
organized and transport tools and materials to the electrician as needed.
Assist with cleaning and preparing the work space for the electrician.
After the project, clean and tidy the work area, removing unused materials, dust,
and dirt as needed.
Assist electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance.

All work will be supervised by experienced electricians.
