As a n Electrical Technician , you'll be :

• Troubleshooting equipment problems.

• Maintaining an electrical inventory as required.
• Electrical panel building.
• Providing support and training as required.
• Electrical and general equipment installation and planning.
• Performing preventative maintenance and general repairs.

• Performing special projects and other duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Providing rotational on-call support
• Using Autodesk AutoCAD to:
• Design system layouts and part modifications.
• Design mechanical components.

• Measuring physical dimensions of machinery and creating drawings.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Identifying system components.

A strong Electrical Technician will possess :

• MA Journeyman's Electrical License
• Associates Degree in Electromechanical technology or a minimum of 5 years equivalent, related experience.

• Experience with mechanical technology or plastics technology preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with improvement process systems including identification, planning, implementation and auditing.

• Proficiency with CMMS.
• Skill in the use, troubleshooting and modification of programmable logic control (PLC)
• Computer literacy and ability to operate computer controlled machinery and equipment.
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical drawings, engineering designs and specifications, and operating instructions.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.

• A strong understanding of our safety mission and its importance
• Must have MA Journeyman's Electrical License
