Job Overview



To manage and follow up on the various projects the Project Manager and VP of Maintenance Services have going on at any given time. To organize teams and ensure assignments are being completed and reporting on the progress. To manage and create content, which includes documentation of projects; Using 6 sigma tools to validate effectiveness of projects; Using OE slides that identify the scope and desired outcomes along with timelines for reporting out and completing projects.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously that involve multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a project plan, which may include the project requirements, technical solution, resource plan, work plan, and estimated project duration/effort.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer needs and the business and project objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that will eliminate defective processes and introduce better control inputs and changes.
  • Other Projects as assigned by the supervisor
    This role will be focused on electrical related projects. These projects will involve problem solving current production products and testing future products. Including but not limited to improving battery life, solar charging, battery desulfators, lithium, and ultracapacitors.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Associates degree preferred
    • ASE, TCP or industry OEM certifications preferred
    • 2 years of experience managing technical solutions and projects required
    • Must have the ability to lead and manage projects
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Experience with Microsoft Project Manager preferred
    • Query capabilities with Qlik, Excel preferred
    • Must have strong organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask required
    • Good communication & relationship building skills required
    • Must be able to navigate the maze of people needed to make projects successful
    • Must be self-motivated and have a desire to achieve results
    • Strong follow up skills/tracking required
    • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
    • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
