Position: Electrical Project Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend bid meetings and site walks
• Review RFPs to understand scope of work to bid
• Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy
• Execute take-offs from documents
• Contact manufacturers and distributors to obtain pricing for materials
• Work with management to determine labor capabilities and rates, equipment deliverables and other on-site / office requirements
• Executing project hand-offs with team upon project being awarded
• Prepare change order pricing for on-going project work on a as needed basis
• Complete walk-through requests
• Document and verification of all measurements
• Complete cut sheets for field team

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years field experience in a field or office role
• Estimating Electrical Projects
• Proficient on BlueBeam and Accubid Software
• Proficient on MS Office, Excel, Word & Adobe PDF- Portable Document Format
• Strong knowledge of electrical or commercial construction project installations
• Sound knowledge of engineering design principles
• Good numeracy and computer skills
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
