Growing manufacturing company in San Dimas is looking for an experienced Electrical Panel Engineering Supervisor to join their team.

Main Duties Include:
In this important role, you will work to develop panel control system from concept to the implementation by working with team member and vendors.

• Responsible for design / engineering and development of controls systems utilized in the refrigeration and process industries.
• You will design and specific control system architecture requirement PLC/controller, Network, Power distribution, Motor control, IOs, instrumentation devices.
• Often may need to collaborate and work with cross functional team: EE, ME, Process, and management team to ensure the control system meets the functional and UL 508 standards requirements.
• Involved with field troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Work for continuous design and process improvement/optimization for field and panel design.
• Will be reviewing vendor components and designs to ensure UL 508A standards, best practice and safety requirements.
• Supporting Electrical and other team members to create and establish better standardization on design, documentation, training, assembly process, commissioning and release to production.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited 4 year college.
• 5+ years of Panel Design and Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of managing personnel.
• 3+ years using AutoCad on designing electrical control panel, control system wiring and instrumentation.
• Experience setting up symbols and libraries in AutoCAD
• NEC and NFPA 70E knowledge and experience and implementing the standards.
• UL 508A knowledge and experience implementing the standards.
• Familiarity with production management practices is a plus.
• Familiar with EtherNet IP, Modbus RS485, Modbus TCP, and ProfiNet.
• Proficiency programming and tuning Allen Bradley, ABB and Danfoss variable frequency drives
