The selected individuals must possess knowledge, skill and ability for the complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field and general knowledge of other related disciplines. The selected candidates must be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems, work under only general direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions. The selected candidates may frequently serve as the inter-organizational and outside customer contact to represent the project/program in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with their specific project/program.

Basic Qualifications :

BQ's for a Electrical Engineer are: BS degree and 2 + years of experience or a Masters degree and 0 years experience.
BQs for a Principal Electrical Engineer are: BS degree and 5+ years of experience in Mechanical design, or Masters degree and 3+ years of experience
  • Experience in Electrical design
  • Detailed knowledge of product design, especially in the area of integration of subsystems that include network communication (Wired and Wireless), power design and distribution, interconnect diagrams, wire harness/cable design
  • Extensive experience in performance of trade studies to identify components that meet system and subsystem requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Experience drafting and reviewing electrical drawings to an industry standard (IPC/TIA/MIL-STD/ASE/ASME) in support of designs in a production environment
  • Experience in performing system troubleshooting using standard test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Multi-Meters)
  • Ability to support periodic travel to customer sites in the continental United States.
  • Experience in leading small technical teams solving challenging, multi-disciplinary design problems
  • Ability to get Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RF relative to radio design, tactical radio systems and amplifier/antenna fundamentals
  • Experience with managed network devices and systems
  • Experience with wireless point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint communication devices and systems
  • Exposure to embedded system hardware and software designs
  • Experience in EMI/EMC/HEMP design requirements implementation
  • Certification to IPC-620 Workmanship Standards
  • Proven track record in development of power solutions (AC, DC, Vehicle Power Systems, Battery, Solar)
  • Experience using PLM/PDM and MRP Systems (Team Center, SAP)
  • Proven problem-solving skills to rapidly address issue identified during production and installation
  • Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects
  • Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through system sustainment
  • Experience working in Agile for Hardware project development, particularly in a leadership role
  • Experience preparing or reviewing proposals for Department of Defense programs
  • Experience developing/improving formal, documented engineering processes and procedures
  • Active security clearance, minimum level Secret


Salary Range: $1 USD - $1 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
