Wood is currently recruiting for an Senior Electrical Engineering Designer / Supervisor for Tucker,GA office.


Key Responsibilities:

• Input the required design data into electrical index as per the defined structure and format
• 3D Modelling Revit, BIM
• Carry out cable tray routing drawings 3D Modelling for cable trays and panels
• Prepare electrical installation detail drawings
• Prepare electrical MTO's
• Prepare earthing layout drawings
• Prepare material requisitions for bulk materials and technical bid evaluations
• Cable tray, underground duct bank, conduit and routing design
• Assist with staffing delegation to projects
• Design supervision
• Intedisciplinary or Client Model Reviews
• Help to supervise, guide or mentor Wood High Value Engineering Centers
• Provide input for performance review of team members

Skills / Qualifications

• Graduate of an Electrical Design technology program or an Engineer with a BSEE
• Minimum of 13 year experience in power, chemical, pulpl and paper or a combination of them
• Proven expertise using AutoCAD 2016 and higher
• 3D design/drafting capabilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
• Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills
• Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win
• Ability to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing mutual trust and teamwork
