Genesis10 is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct-hire role with our client in Kenosha, WI.

Overview of Position:
Electrical Engineer with experience and desire in a hands-on roll with industrial automation, product development, manufacturing support and application support.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Research and develop products using gateway process for new and continuous product development.
• Coordinates information between departments, including engineering, sales, purchasing, production, and technical support.
• Trouble shoot, support, maintain and design production electrical testing area.
• Design custom control circuits for special customer requirements.
• Maintain and document all information related to new and current product in electrical, operational, and cost capacity
• Analyzes project problems and recommends corrective action that has the least impact to cost and schedule
• Prepare and present presentations both for internal and external uses.
• Limited travel in field for field testing and/or customer support.

Requirements

• Interface with customers and distributors to explain product functionality and troubleshooting techniques for operation and maintenance of client products.
• Develop maintain and support panel designs for both standard and custom panels.
• Independently manage all aspects of assigned projects.
• Look for opportunities to take cost out of project and improve overall quality and competitiveness
• Trouble shoot both remotely and on site when issues arise with product
• Travel to job site for implementation and training as required for project.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Technology
• Requires three to five years engineering experience

• Requires one to three years knowledge/experience of VFD drives, PLCs and industrial controls.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills

• Requires the ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals

• Requires the ability to use a variety of office equipment such as spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, telephone, facsimile machine, photocopier, and a computer printer.
