Actalent Services is hiring an Electrical Engineer for a great client in the Albany area! This is a long term consultant position with holiday pay, PTO, and more! This company has work for the next 12 months and has a high potential to go beyond 1 year.

Job Description:

We are looking for an entry level Electrical Engineer who can work with their peers and Sr. partner on projects by supporting major capital equipment to ensure that the function of the equipment and power distribution is working properly from an electrical flow stand point. This will include being a technical resource from a knowledge advantage as well as the go to for electrical infrastructure breakdowns. This person will spend about 50% of their time as boots on the ground in the plant and about 50% of the time in the office. This person will be expected to be a problem solver and a strong communicator who will have to quickly develop a strong understanding of the operation to identify and develop efficient methods and processes.

Skills & Qualifications Needed:

MUST HAVES:

• 1-3+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
• Experience supporting projects on the electrical side (working with electrical tools, cables, wires, power drivers, etc)
• Understanding of how to read electrical schematics & blueprints

NICE TO HAVE:

• Preferred candidate has passed the FE exam.
• Experience working with high voltage equipment 12000 Volts
• Project management fundamental experience
