We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support new product development for the automotive, medical, and aerospace industries. The role will support the R&D team by sizing and selecting electrical components, generating wiring prints and harnesses, testing, and tuning new prototypes and supporting test stand builds.

Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with sizing, selecting, and tuning of BLDC motors and controllers
• Assist with the selection of new components and technologies
• Assist in testing of electronic and mechanical components, including performance, environmental, and life testing, of components and subsystems
• Contribute to new electronic circuit designs and assist with PCB design, assembly, and testing.
• Testing of PLC/HMI based systems
• Develop and/or prepare schematics, designs, specifications, part lists, etc.
• Assist with the development and testing of new electro-mechanical assemblies and structures.
• Work with new products to develop test and assembly procedures and fixtures
• Train production personnel
• Assist with field evaluation and installation of systems including installation and client personnel may be required
• Assist with ongoing product improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Electrical Engineer Job Qualifications:

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 2-5 years' work experience in a Production Test environment or a master's degree.
• Good understanding electrical systems including controllers and drives Strong background in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering.
• Strong experience with electrical test equipment such as DMMs, o-scopes, power supplies, DAQs, etc.
• Knowledge or experience in an assembly/integration and test environment: planning, preparation, execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting on multiple PLC platforms and the programming/ troubleshooting of robotics, motion control, HMI and other programmable control systems
• Experience with vehicle EPS integration and test.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedures.
• Test equipment and software (LabView)
• Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrable knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
