Job Overview
Are you interested in joining one of the biggest Aerospace companies in the country? We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team!
What you will be doing:
Design, develop, test and qualify new embedded electronics equipment for Aerospace application
Review engineering specifications and develop product designs according to aerospace industry standards
Select electronic components, generate schematic capture (OrCAD or Eagle) and PCB layout (Allegro / OrCAD)
Develop specifications, and technical documentation including preparing PDR & CDR material.
Conduct Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) verification, Design Rule Check (DRC) verifications Electrical Rule Check (ERC) verification. Conduct reliability analysis
Hands-on ability to develop and build prototype in support of products' validation/verification
Develop ATP with LabVIEW software and hardware
Develop diagram design in accordance with aerospace standards
Develop test plan and conduct test
Interface with customer as technical expert
Documentation and report generation for DO-160, DO-254
What you need to qualify:
5+ years' experience in design and development environment in Aerospace industries
Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering
Leadership and system integration is advantage
Working understanding of serial communication protocols and implementation of CAN Bus, SPI, RS232, I2C
Experience with BITE
Some programming experience to interface with software engineers
Programming LabVIEW and C/C++ is desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Work experience in aerospace is advantage
