YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, E&I Proj Eng, are to:

Key Tasks:

• Provide engineering and project management to capital projects from project initiation through completion;
• Participate as engineering lead on Global Engineering projects;
• Responsible for complex electrical engineering design and project management including high project workload;
• Set long term direction and partners with Project Engineering Leader on project prioritization, support, and strategy;
• Serve as a member of the SME community and site representatives for design, construction and implementation of investment projects interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines within the region;
• Propose actions to direct multi-disciplinary optimization and reliability teams across sites;
• Guide development of continuous improvement goals, resource prioritization, and communication of financial or other performance metrics;
• Serve as a technical expert for Design Standards or technical specification documents;
• Develop procedures, guidelines, design standards, and technologies across the Site as a subject matter expert;
• Leads or represents Sites on corporate teams;
• Guide experience exchanges and promote knowledge transfer with other site Engineers;
• Demonstrate champions self-development, technical training and technical mentoring for development and the engagement of other engineers and area personnel.

Qualification & Competencies:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of work experience preferably in a plant operation function; or a Master of Science with a minimum of 7 years Engineering experience;
• Strong commitment to safety;

• Demonstrate results-driven skills by exemplifying a perpetual drive towards learning, developing, growing and improving;
• Provide solid communication skills, both written and oral;

• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing plant environment, including ascending/descending stairs and ladders;
• Computer proficiency in Windows based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
• Provide general knowledge of batch and/or continuous process operations;
• Understand and utilize NFPA Standards;
• Understand and utilize NEC Standards;
• Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Lead with strong project management and multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrate computer proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Project.
