YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, E & I Eng, are to:

• Support daily E&I maintenance activities;
• Champion DSIDA safety systems and aid in the development, tracking, and improvement of several E&I related safety areas including interlock bypass, management of change, electrical safe work practices and diverse systems;
• Develop E&I engineer work packages and repair plans for E&I maintenance jobs;
• Provide technical support on the development of E&I maintenance job;
• Plan for equipment repairs and preventative maintenance jobs, and provide technical support during work execution by maintenance technicians;
• Perform troubleshooting on E&I issues to determine root causes and identify/implement the proper solutions to effectively resolve E&I issues
• Support E&I reliability efforts;
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analyses on equipment issues/breakdowns and design/implement corrective actions to improve the future performance of the equipment;
• Support annual shutdown activities by providing technical support on the proper development of E&I work packages and oversight/support during the execution of maintenance activities;
• Support the areas cost management efforts by tracking and analyzing equipment maintenance costs to identify improvement opportunities and to prioritize reliability projects, and to track the savings of all completed reliability projects;
• Support DSIDA capital projects, especially from an E&I perspective;
• Actively support and improve DSIDA production systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a diverse team composed of fellow engineers, operations personnel, maintenance personnel and leadership;
• Strong communications skills, both oral, decision making and problem solving skills;
• Challenges status quo to achieve better business results for the business;
• Ability to work on and balance multiple assignments and priorities;
• Must be able to perform work in a manufacturing plant environment including ascending/descending stairs/ladders;
• Computer proficiency in Windows based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Strong safety ethic.
