We are looking to hire an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to support 8 sites across the United States - Amherst, NY; Acworth, GA. Bristol, VA; Streetsboro, OH; Houston, TX; Lancaster, TX; Shakopee, MN; Newark, CA. This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you fill for us We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for providing EHS support for 8 Powders and Coatings product manufacturing sites in the U.S. This position requires a hands-on approach in support of the sites. ideal candidate will be physically located at one of these sites. This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your solid planning skills to define schedules/priorities for multiple assignments under limited supervision and persuade others when interacting with peers, customers, and management. + Leveraging your education and work background in EHS, as well as your knowledge of related technologies and regulations, you will provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure occupational safety compliance at the site as part of a zero-incident mindset and be responsible for comprehensive occupational health, process safety and Industrial Hygiene (IH) support and oversight for the site. + As a trusted advisor, you will work with management on identified EHS issues / recommendations / opportunities to foster continuous improvement of EHS programs and culture. Additionally, you will provide operational support for Environmental Programs including Air, Waste, and Water Permitting compliance. + You will assist sites with the implementation of including, but not limited to, Control of Hazardous Energy - Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Hot Work, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, and Emergency Planning and Response. + As a role model, you will reinforce a culture of behavior-based safety and support emergency response activities through the development of required drills and coordination of annual training. + Demonstrating your wealth of EHS experience, you will perform exposure assessments, including exposure and hazard evaluation, as well as control solutions for chemical agents, biological agents, and physical stress agents (e.g., occupational noise). Additionally, you will be responsible for data interpretation, data communication (monitoring reports and control recommendation), and regulatory compliance relating to occupational health and safety. + Engaging with others both inside and outside of the organization, you will participate in capital project reviews consistent with the level of industrial hygiene and safety expertise needed and support the interface with regulatory agencies and third parties on compliance and enforcement issues as needed. These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role + Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or comparable scientific discipline. + 5 or more years of experience providing Environmental, Health and Safety support to multiple production or manufacturing sites. + 5 years of experience identifying EHS related issues and providing recommendations to mitigate identified issues + Must have implemented a program defining the proper process for the following - Control of Hazardous Materials, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, Hot Work, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication and Emergency Planning and Response. + Must be willing and able to travel 25% or more as part of a regular work schedule _What we can offer you as an employee of Master Builder Solutions_ The total rewards that you receive as a Master Builder Solutions employee go way beyond a paycheck.
