Here is how the EHS Coordinator I/II/Sr. role will impact our business: The EHS Coordinator I/II/Sr. supports the environmental, health and safety functional area to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and EQT internal policies and procedures in various states. The EHS Coordinator I/II/Sr. responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in ensuring compliance with all regulatory and environmental safety requirements Interact with federal and state safety regulatory agencies Identify and implement means of reducing incidents Assist in the identification and elimination of employee exposure to unsafe acts and conditions Act as a change agent for cultural improvement within the organization in regard to safety Assist in environmental and safety audits, and track items to achieve closure and ensure corrective action plans are completed Review environmental and safety standards, evaluate current standards and review/revise as necessary, while communicating changes to necessary business partners Inspect sites for environmental compliance and safety hazards from the construction phase through reclamation Assist with safety and environmental incident investigations Required / Preferred Experience and Skills: 2+ years of experience which demonstrates a thorough understanding of: environmental and safety regulations and compliance issues pertaining to oil and gas projects, and 3rd party contractor management. Bachelor's Degree in safety engineering, environmental science or a closely related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas business Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver public speaking engagements/trainings and analyze/summarize data for report writing Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently, while also working well and communicating with all levels of the team Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information Strong detail orientation and organizational skills for accurate record keeping Possess a valid PA driver's license Ability to travel locally 90% of time - all driving distances (no overnight travel) Ability to work an on-call rotation with flexible work hours inclusive of weekends and holidays Primary work area will include northcentral PA EQT Corporation and its subsidiaries is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disabilities/Veterans Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
