Brief Overview of Position The Deposit Operations Specialist will answer incoming calls from customers while exhibiting service beyond expectations. Will provide full-cycle customer support in a call center setting by professionally greeting callers, providing appropriate information, resolving issues and concerns, and processing servicing requests.

• Assists the Deposit Operations department with customer service/research, and processing of customer accounts
• Responsible for the reconcilement, research and clearing of reconciling items for internal accounts
• Perform customer research and makes corrections to transaction accounts
• Process various types of exception checks and deposits within required internal and governmental time frames
• Represents Client Operations in a positive, effective and professional manner
• Respond quickly to customer demands, perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Internal customer contact
• Accurately and effectively process requests for client and account maintenance, address changes, debit card issuances and maintenance
• Process miscellaneous requests such as stop payments, refund requests, statement requests
• Assist with documentation of departmental processes
• Provide prompt and courteous service
• Assist with documentation of departmental processes
• Identify client needs, answer questions, and resolve issues
• Assist with all aspects of card services as needed
• Assist with other department duties as needed
• Assist with internal reviews to ensure departmental compliance with policies and procedures
• General administrative duties such as copy, filing and mail distribution
• Complete special projects as require

• Must have a minimum of 3 years bank operations experience, as well as 3 years of customer service, with strong customer service skills
• General knowledge of banking rules and regulations and banking policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational and decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude, maintaining a pleasant demeanor at all times
• Previous experience working with core processing systems
• Detail oriented ability to multi-task
• Excels in a fast paced environment
• Proficient PC/Internet skills (Microsoft Office including Word and Excel)
• Keyboarding skills of 40 to 50 wpm
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be team oriented
