Job Overview

Substitutes and Per Diems Needed!

School is in session and we invite you to join our special purpose private school serving young children with special needs, aged Pre-K through grade 4. We are diligent in our adherence to public health guidance, and our comprehensive health and safety guidelines. The safety of our staff and students is our first priority. The Fraser-Ford Child Development Center, owned and operated by Waban Projects, Inc. is a year-round school-based behavioral health day treatment program. Waban is seeking dedicated professionals to provide individualized instruction to children with autism, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral health needs in our clinically intensive center-based program. Under the supervision of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III provides 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills within an Applied Behavior Analysis model. In addition, our team of professionals includes licensed clinicians, occupational therapists, and speech language providers who also support the Ed Tech III in meeting the child's diverse needs. Waban offers the initial and ongoing training required to be a highly effective instructor of children with special needs as well as to promote continuous learning, professional development, and the delivery of high quality services to children and their families, within a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum of 90 college credits required. Preference given to candidates with experience, Ed Tech III certification, and School-Based Behavioral Health Professional certification. Waban will facilitate obtaining these certifications, and provide paid BHP training, for candidates in need of these certifications.
