Currently, we are looking for a Disassembly Technician, Part-Time to join the ABF Freight team. As a Disassembly Technician, Part-Time you will carry out the disassembly process by closely following the standard operating procedures provided. This position operates a forklift and other tools as needed to disassemble transportation equipment.
Your contribution may include:
Operate a forklift as needed.
Disassemble Mobile Platforms (Equipment).
Report new imperfections or damage to Mobile Platforms that is discovered in the course of assembly/disassembly.
Use machine equipment to complete tasks
Stay aware of possible hazards by following Company safety and quality standards.
Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work area, and workstations neat.
Promote clean and safe work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Read and follow work procedures and schematics or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Perform assembly/disassembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
Work with supervisors, managers, and others to improve process efficiency.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
As a Disassembly Technician, Part-Time, you will be a member of the ABF Freight Service Center Operations team. This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours will be scheduled for weekend days with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Experience: Prior forklift experience.
Certifications: Forklift Certification.
Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work alone or as part of a Team.
