SUMMARY: Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Company's marketing strategies, communications and public relations multiple business units and/or functional corporate departments.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop appropriate marketing materials by certifying the editorial direction, design, production and distribution. Provide short and long term forecasts by directing market research collection, analysis and interpretation of market data. Direct the marketing team by monitoring progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance. Assist leaders throughout the organization to formulate and administer policies to ensure the Company's integrity. Ensure articulation of the Organization's desired image and position are consistent within the marketplace and the general public. Works closely with the corporate communications team in developing targeted advertising/sales campaigns. Develop annual marketing plans and assist in developing the annual sales plan.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business or transportation, or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree in a related field desirable.

EXPERIENCE: 10+ years experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the transportation industry.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Access and Excel. Demonstrated skills in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and implement a successful marketing plan/strategy. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trends as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report and/or edit information. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop changes or alternatives. Ability to mentor, coach, train and supervise employees. Knowledge of marketing research techniques and tools.
