In this role, you will work with a team of technicians and CDL Drivers on prototype/durability experimental trucks. In this position you will be responsible for: Rebuilding, maintaining and documenting truck engine failures and issues identified by the test drivers while being test driven on a durability test track Other duties as assigned Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Automotive diesel mechanic or diesel technician experience or equivalent military experience Own tools with rolling toolbox Well-rounded mechanical experience as an Automotive Tech or Diesel Mechanic Good organizational skills and attention to detail Skills to effectively read, comprehend, and execute written procedures Basic computer skills Self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn Ability to work afternoon shift hours Excellent attendance and be willing to work occasional weekends Preferred qualifications: 2-year degree from a college or technical school State/ASE certifications Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins experience If you share our passion for providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, we want you on our team.
