Position Overview
We are currently seeking Mechanic candidates for our shop in Rochester Mills, PA who are upbeat, energetic, self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements :
Diagnosing and repairing heavy and medium-duty trucks
General maintenance and repairs of equipment
Performs work efficiently and effectively
Communicate mechanical issues with the service manager
Perform inspections on tractors, trailers, and automotive vehicles
Able to travel to perform on road repairs as needed
Tire and brake repairs
Willingness and ability to learn vehicle computer diagnostics
Rebuild and repair of PTOs and fuel pumps
Qualifications and Skills:
Mechanical and technical abilities
Experience with commercial diesel trucks
Able to lift heavy objects
Knowledge in electrical diagnostics and repairs
CDL preferred
State Inspection License preferred
Valid driver's license
Own basic hand tools
Must be able to balance multiple responsibilities.
