Join Our Team! We re hiring for a full-time, year-round Diesel Mechanic (Technician) in Dayton, OR. You will be working on a variety of farm equipment, implements, trucks, semi-trucks/trailers, tractors, combines and more. You will be conducting preventative maintenance while also trouble shooting repairs both in the shop and in the field. Although, your primary role will be maintenance you will be assisting in other areas of the farm.

What you would be doing

• Perform maintenance on trucks, equipment and facilities
• Document details of services performed
• Source parts with a focus on making economics decisions
• Research maintenance projects
• Communicate both with leaders and with the others on the team on repairs, timing of projects, obstacles in getting repairs, etc.
• Ensure a safe work environment and an organized shop

This role is for you if you

• Have 2-5 years of mechanical experience in either heavy equipment, ag equipment, diesel, military, construction or relatable work
• Have your own tools
• Preferred have knowledge of hydraulics, electrical repair, and basic welding
• Pay attention to the details and prefer a proactive approach to maintenance
• Are comfortable with the longer hours involved in farming especially during peak seasons
• Valid driver s license
