Overall Purpose:

Candidate must possess knowledge of Quality Assurance/DevOps Best Practices and Standards and be able to apply that knowledge. Evaluates and tests new or modified applications. Reviews new or modified applications including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts, to determine if program will perform according to user stories/requirements and conform to guidelines. May review application logs to identify program processing errors.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop test strategy in line with the solution
Develop and execute test cases/scripts in an agile environment
Create and manage test data
Triage defects and support in resolution
Collaborate with other team members to deliver the product or product feature
Aid in regression suite development

Supervisory:

Does not supervise others.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Roles at this level require industry specific experience. Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. With 5+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

Experience in:

Test case management tools like Microsoft Azure, Test Plans, ALM-Quality Center
Visual Studio Team Services
C# and/or python
.NET framework unit testing tools (JUnit, NUnit, xUnit)
"AGILE + DevOps " process management methodology
SQL
Working in an Agile Environment

Able to

Set up frameworks and work on multiple application types (Web, API, Mobile and Desktop)
Build different test scenarios, acceptance criteria and test metrics
Look for opportunities to start testing earlier in the development life cycle
